Family Dispute Resolution (Urgent Matters Only)

- Accredited Circle of Security Parenting™ Program Facilitator With over a decade of experience in family law, and more than eight years specialising in mediation and trauma-informed practice, Jacki Leech is dedicated to helping families navigate complex parenting and separation matters with compassion, professionalism, and child-centred focus.
- In 2017, Jacki established Brisbane Children’s Contact Centre Pty Ltd, a boutique children’s contact service designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for supervised visits and changeovers. As an ACCSA-affiliated service, the Centre upholds national best practice standards for Children’s Contact Services in Australia. Jacki has also volunteered within the Queensland community legal sector since 2013, reflecting her long-standing commitment to family justice and social impact. Urgent Family Mediation and Section 60I Certificates
- Brisbane Children’s Contact Centre provides Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) and issues Section 60I Certificates at no cost for families experiencing urgent circumstances.
- This service is available only in limited situations, including:
- 1. When there are delays accessing publicly funded FDR services (such as long wait times);
- 2. When a court date is approaching and a Section 60I certificate is urgently required;
- 3. When there are safety concerns requiring immediate attention; or
- 4. When there has been a prolonged separation without contact between a parent and child.
- All sessions are conducted by an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, in accordance with the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2008. This service is strictly limited to urgent matters and subject to practitioner availability. Eligibility is assessed at intake.
- Child Psychologist
- A psychologist specialising in children, youth, parenting, trauma, and attachment is also available through the Centre. Bulk billing is available with a valid referral.
